About the event
This upcoming Banned Books Week, we’re partnering with Libro.fm to join the fight against book censorship! Join us for our Audiobook Walking Club and at the store afterwards to call our representatives to take action against bans on our books.
Scripts for calls will be provided along with other helpful resources to learn more about censorship.
Attendees will also receive two free audiobooks:
-Banned Together, by: Ashley Hope Perez
-How to Defend Books and Why, by: Danny Caine
Meet at All the Tropes for 45 minute walk around our Kirkwood neighborhood and then back at the store for dedicated time to call our representatives before we open to the public for the day.
